GENERAL

- Is your Dayton Ohio location open to the public?

Our location is closed to the public. This policy is simply a security measure.

- How long will it take to deliver my order?

We will make effort to get your order shipped as fast as possible, general shipping time is 7-10 business days.

- Where do I purchase your firearms?

Any dealer can purchase our products. We have a dealer locator on our site to assist you.

- Where can I find prices for your firearms?

Our suggested retail price is posted on the site. Please contact your dealer for an exact price.

- Can I purchase your firearms directly from your facility?

No. We are not a retail facility and we only sell to dealers, distributors, and wholesalers.

+ Where can I purchase accessories and parts for your products?

Accessories and parts sold directly on our website and through Dealers. You can also contact Customer Service at 937-835-5000, please have item numbers available for faster service.

WARRANTY

- My firearm needs service. What do I do?

Call our Customer Service line at 937-835-5000 and speak with one of our customer service representatives. They will guide you step by step through our procedure and assist you with setting up an RMA to send your firearm back. - Where do I ship my firearm for service?

- Do I have to pay for return shipping to the repair facility?

Yes. Our service center will pay for shipping back to the customer, unless deemed non warranty. If the item is deemed not to be warranty the customer will be required to pay return shipping.

- Who should I used to ship my firearm back to the facility?

Long guns may be shipped by UPS or FedEx or by USPS if within Ohio. Handguns may only be shipped with UPS or FedEx NDA. Your dealer may be able to assist you in returning the firearm.

- How long will my repair take?

Approx. 4 – 6 weeks. In the event any issue arises that we are unable to repair your firearm in this amount of time you will be contacted.

- Do I have to pay to ship my firearm in for repair?

We will provide a shipping label if purchased within the last 30 days with the original owner

- How can I get a replacement part covered under warranty?

We will need a copy of the purchase receipt, serial number of firearm and a picture of the damaged/missing part.

- Do I need to send my whole firearm in for repair?

Yes, We will need the whole firearm and everything that came with the firearm. (Ex: Magazines, Cylinders, Etc…)

1911-22

- Can I dry fire? Why Not?

No, When a rim firearm is dry fired it can cause damaged to the firing pin and the chamber. Also this will cause jamming and stove piping issues. Please you snap caps for practicing.

- Where can I find the serial number?

The serial number is located on the right side below the slide

- Where is my firearm manufactured at?

Depending on date of manufacture, your firearm was either made in Dayton, Ohio or Brescia, Italy.

- What is the firearm made of?

The frame is Alloy and the barrel is steel.

- What is the trigger pull?

The trigger pull weight should be around 5.5LBS

- How can I tell when my firearm was manufactured?

Please contact our customer service at Info@chiappafirearms.com

- Are the sights interchangeable?

Yes, depending on the model. Please contact customer service for options or visit our on-line store.

- Is this firearm available in my state?

Its available in most states except: Minnesota, Hawaii, California, and Massachusetts.

- How do I remove the barrel bushing?

Turn the bushing 90 degree and rack the slide back really hard a couple of times or try using a plastic hammer.

- My firearm will not chamber rounds?

Rack the slide back, and observe the chamber, look at the 12 o’clock position above the chamber, right where the rim of the round would lay. Do you see a small dimple or square impression? If so, this could be the cause, damage from the firing pin to the liner and is the most common cause of failure to extract with these weapons. This damage will need to be removed by a gunsmith, which you can send into us for repair or take to a local gunsmith. Another cause is ammo. We recommend high quality high velocity ammo. (I.e. CCI: Mini Mags, Winchester M-22, Winchester Super-X) If problem still exists contact our customer service and we will get your firearm into our repair facility.

- My firearm will not feed from magazine?

The most common problem for this is the magazine is malfunctioning. First try another magazine if available to confirm that the first magazine is malfunctioning. If this is the problem call into our customer service and if the firearm is under warranty we can send you a new magazine. If out of warranty the customer can purchase a new magazine from out online store or by calling into our customer service team.

- Are there metal magazines for the magazines for the 1911-22?

Currently we only make and sell the polymer magazines that come standard with all our 1911-22. Extra magazines can be purchased though our online store or by contacting our customer service team.

M9-22

- Can I dry fire? Why Not?

- My firearm will not chamber/Stove Pipe rounds?

Rack the slide back, and observe the chamber, look at the 12 o’clock position above the chamber, right where the rim of the round would lay. Do you see a small dimple or square impression? If so, this could be the cause, damage from the firing pin to the liner and is the most common cause of failure to extract with these weapons. This damage will need to be removed by a gunsmith, which you can send into us for repair by contacting our customer service team or take to a local gunsmith. Another cause is ammo. - My firearm will not feed from magazine?

- I put my firearm back together and not I can get magazine and/or slide will not pull back?

This is most likely the firearm was not put back together correctly. Take firearm apart again. When reassembling make sure the hammer drop lever (#35 in exploded view in manual) is in the back/up position when putting the slide back on an into position. If this is hanging down when the slide is back on this is the incorrect position and needs to be set back into the correct position.

RHINO

- Can I use .38 special in my .357 magnum?

Yes, you can you .38 special in the .357 magnum. I would clean the cylinder after using the .38 before going back to .357 so the casing doesn’t get stuck.

- What is the trigger pull and can I lighten the trigger pull?

The trigger pull is around 10LBS and yes, We sell a trigger kit that will lighten the trigger pull approx. 1 lb.

- How do I get the new trigger conversion put in my firearm?

You will need to contact our repair department in Dayton, Ohio and they will set up a return number.

- Do I have to use the moon clips?

.357 mag up to serial number RH05833 may not be used with the clips, the .9mm and .40 S&W can only be used with moon clips.

- Is this firearm available in my state?

Its available in all states except Massachusetts. In California only the Rhino SAR is available.

- Can I change the length of the firearm?

No

- Can I add a rear sight to my 2” firearm?

No, you can’t add a rear sight to the 2”

- How can I tell when my firearm was manufactured?

- Where is my firearm manufactured at?

All 2” models are manufactured in Dayton, Ohio. All other models are manufactured in Brescia, Italy.

- Can I change from a Single action to a Double/single Action?

Yes, we offer service if you do not live in California at our warranty facility, although, If you do live in California, we sell the conversion kit to gunsmiths only

- Are the Rhinos still available?

Yes any local gun dealer can order the firearm for you.

- What is the trigger pull weight for the Rhinos?

Single Action 2,5kg - 5,51lb: Double action 4,5kg - 9,92lb

- I was shooting my Rhino and the trigger went limp and the chamber is still loaded. How can I unload my firearm safely?

We have set up a YouTube video (https://youtu.be/lOC9SyVJL5U) with step by step instructions on have to empty out your cylinder safely. After you have safely removed the ammo from your firearm, you will need to contact customer service so they can give you instructions on how to send in your firearm to our repair facility.

- My Rhino is very hard to turn the cylinder on single action?

This is an issue that will need to be resolved by a gunsmith. The customer can either take it to a local gunsmith or contact our customer service team so they can give instructions on how to send in their firearm into our repair facility.

- What is the trigger pull?

The trigger pull weight should be around 4.4LBS

- Can I order a magnum cylinder?

Yes, you will need to send in your firearm to our repair department in Dayton, OH so we can fit the new cylinder with your firearm.

- Is this firearm available in my state?

This depends on model. Please contact customer service for details.

- How can I tell when my firearm was manufactured?

- I have to dual cylinder combo and the one cylinder is loose?

There is 1 cylinder bushing for both cylinders you will need to change out the bushing between the two. You can always order another cylinder bushing on our website at http://store.chiappafirearms.com/.

- The manual is different from my firearm?

We use one manual for all models. You can download the latest manual on our website.

DOUBLE BADGER AND LITTLE BADGER

- I cannot chamber a round into the 22 barrel?

Look at the 12 o’clock position above the chamber, right where the rim of the round would lay. Do you see a small dimple or square impression? If so, this is the cause, damage from the firing pin to the liner is the most common cause of failure to chamber with these weapons. This damage will need to be removed by a gunsmith, which you can send into our repair facility or take to a local gunsmith.

- The break action on my firearm seems very stiff.

There is a step the customer can take to try and resolve the issue. There are two screws at the break action. Loosen screw on one side until the desired looseness is achieved. If this does not help the issue it will need to be taken to a local gunsmith or the customer can contact our customer service team and they will help the customer with getting there firearm into our repair center.

- I have shot my firearm before but now it seems as if the 22 firing in is exposed even after firearm is cocked?

This issue is caused by dry firing the firearm and the firing pin is too damaged to function properly and will need to be replaced. At this point the firearm needs to repaired by a qualified gunsmith or call our customer service and we will give you instructions on how to send the firearm into our repair facility.

X-CALIBER AND M6

- I cannot chamber a round into the 22 barrel.

This is an issue that will need to be sent into our facility for repair. Please contact our customer service team and they will help you with instructions on how to send in your firearm.

MFOUR

- Light strikes not firing or working with my lower receiver?

Is your lower either Plum Crazy or New Frontier, If so this is a common issues with our MFour Upper atop the New Frontier or Plum Crazy lower receivers. These receivers require a special hammer. See Link ttps://newfrontierarmory.com/shop/lw-15-polymer-blow-back-hammer/

- My firearm will not chamber rounds?

Remove the bolt out of the upper and look down at the barrel chamber. Look at the 12 o’clock position above the chamber, right where the rim of the round would lay. Do you see a small dimple or square impression? If so, this is the cause, damage from the firing pin to the liner and is the most common cause of failure to chamber with these weapons. This damage will need to be removed by a gunsmith, which you can send into our repair facility or take to a local gunsmith. Another cause is ammo. We recommend high quality high velocity ammo. - My upper is damaging my buffer tube retaining pin?

On most lowers everything can be kept the same as if you were using your .223/5.56 upper. But if you happen to have one where when using our upper the retaining pin seems to be getting damaged, you can remove the retaining pin, buffer, and buffer spring; because these are not needed for the Chiappa M-four 22 to function properly.

- What scope mount can I use?

- Can I put a sling and oiler?

- My firearm will not feed correctly?

You might have a broken magazine. First try the other magazine with the firearm to see if this is the issue. If this is in fact the cause of the issue and the firearm is still under warranty contact our customer service team and the will be happy to assist you in this matter. If the firearm is out of warranty you can purchase another one by either visiting our online store or you can call into our customer service team and they will assist you.

M1-9

- What scope mount can I use?

We sell 2 picatinny scope mount bases on our webstore. Please visit the webstore for purchase.

- Can I put a sling and oiler?

Yes, you can put a sling and oiler

- Can I use +P ammo?

We do not recommend the use of +p ammunition in this firearm.

- What is the trigger pull?

The trigger pull weight should be around 7.7LBS

- My bolt seems to have broken while I was shooting my firearm.

This is an issue where it will need to be sent back into our repair facility. Please contact our customer service team and they will be happy to give you instructions on how to send in your firearm.

- When shooting on the last round of the magazine doesn’t want to chamber:

a. Make sure that you are holding the rifle tight to your shoulder. This is an issue similar to limp wristing a pistol.

b. If problem still occurs contact our customer service team and the will instruct you on how to send in you firearm.

- I cannot get the magazine release button off so that I can take out internals from the stock to clean?

a. You will need a cloth and a pair of small vise grips. Place the cloth over the magazine release button. Clamp the vise grips on the covered button and turn counter clock wise until button is loose then unscrew the rest of the way by hand. Repeat process backwards when reassembling firearm.

b. New production models have flats on them and can be removed with a small crescent wrench.

1892

- My .357mag 1892 will not cycle rounds?

This firearm is designed specifically for .357magnum. It is not deigned to cycle .38 special ammo, thus .357mag must be used for the firearm to function properly.

SPENCER

- The ammo I am using doesn’t seem to cycle properly?

The spencer is an ammo type and length specific rifle. Refer to manual on proper cartridge type and size.

KODIAK AND ALASKAN

- My .357mag firearm will not cycle rounds?

This firearm is designed specifically for .357magnum. It is not deigned to cycle .38 special ammo, thus .357mag must be used for the firearm to function properly.

- My firearm will not takedown?

This is an issue that will need to be sent into our repair facility. Please contact our customer service team and they will be happy to assist you in sending in your firearm. Any other issue should be sent into a gunsmith for repair or contact our customer service team so they can give the customer instructions on how to send your firearm into our repair facility.

TRIPLE

- Having issues getting my forend on and off?

Many of the Triple Crowns have come with the forend tight. Usually after about 50 rounds they break in and the forend becomes much easier to remove. If after 50 rounds the forend is still too tight to remove, contact Customer Service 937-835-5000.

- What kind of chokes?

- Remington Choke threads.

- Can you change the order of the fire sequence?

No, the firing sequence is right, left, top.
